Conveyor Support Stands and Connecting Hardware
Conveyor support stands (sometimes called conveyor belt stands) hold up the sections of a conveyor. The stands\\\' height can be adjusted to create a level or sloped conveying surface. The stands must have a load capacity that is greater than the combined weight of the conveyor sections they are supporting and the items being moved on them. A minimum of two stands is required for a conveyor with one section, and a minimum of three stands is required for every two conveyor sections in conveyors with more than one section. Increasing the number of stands under a conveyor section will increase the maximum load capacity of the conveyor section. These stands are commonly used on conveying systems in warehouses, package handling areas, manufacturing and assembly facilities, and distribution centers.
