Polishing
Polishing
Polishing tools and buffing equipment helps create a smooth, glossy finish on metal, glass, wood, and fiberglass surfaces by removing scratches and other small marks. Polishing creates a brushed or lined surface preparation using abrasive grit. Buffing, usually done after polishing, creates a lustrous finish by removing the polishing lines using cloth or fiber pads that are often attached to a rotary tool. Polished and buffed surfaces look finished and attractive and are easier to clean. Buffing and polishing compounds are fine abrasive fillers added to greases and formed into bars or liquid. They\'re then added to buffing and polishing pads, bonnets, and felt bobs to help fill in and remove fine lines.
