Time-delay cylindrical fuses, sometimes called slow-blow fuses, are current protection devices that tolerate brief spikes from short events such as motor starts or equipment startups. Their bodies are tube-shaped and have conductive metal caps that allow them to be easily installed or removed from clip-style holders.
