Latex chemical-resistant gloves resist some acids, alcohols, caustics, and detergents. Also known as canner's gloves, they have poor resistance to oils, greases, hydrocarbons, and organic solvents. Latex has high elasticity and dexterity, exceptional grip in wet and dry applications, and good resistance against rips and tears. It can cause allergic reactions in some people.
