These adjustable gantry cranes change their leg placements on beams to alter their usable span and shorten the distance trolleys need to travel. They allow operators to modify the distance between legs to better accommodate load sizes and position gantry cranes into tighter spaces where fixed-span gantry cranes would not fit.
